Indian farmers to step up protests after rejecting supply to defer controversial new legal guidelines

NEW DELHI, Jan 22 (Reuters)Indian farmers on Friday rejected a proposal by the federal government to defer three farm reform legal guidelines for one-and-half years, warning they’d step up protests as they search a repeal of the legal guidelines and a assure on minimal crop costs.
