BENGALURU, Jan 4 (Reuters)Indian oil-to-telecoms conglomerate Reliance Industries RELI.NS on Monday requested for intervention by authorities authorities to cease the vandalism of its telecom infrastructure by protesting farmers and sympathisers.

Protesters agitating in opposition to new agricultural legal guidelines have attacked a whole bunch of telecommunications masts of firms comparable to Reliance’s Jio telecom service that they imagine have profited from the farm reforms at their expense.
