PARIS, Nov 29 (Reuters) – Moet Hennessy, LVMH’s wines and spirit unit, stated on Friday it had acquired a 55% stake in Chateau d’Esclans, a rose wine producer within the scenic Var area of southeastern France.
Chateau d’Esclans, the main Provence Rose within the American market, joins Moet Hennessy’s portfolio of wines and spirits,” the corporate stated in an announcement.
Chateau d’Esclans property stretches throughout 267 hectares of which 74 hectares are planted with AOP Cotes de Provence vineyards, which might be prolonged by 60 hectares.
