Nike CEO Mark Parker to step down, John Donahoe to take over

Oct 22 (Reuters)Nike Inc’s NKE.N long-time chief government officer, Mark Parker, will step down subsequent 12 months and get replaced by John Donahoe, the CEO of cloud computing agency ServiceNow Inc NOW.N, the footwear and attire maker mentioned on Tuesday.

Parker had mentioned final 12 months he would stay CEO and chairman of the footwear maker past 2020, together with his remarks coming at a time the corporate was hit by a collection of government departures and probes on office complaints.

Individually, ServiceNow mentioned it appointed Invoice McDermott as its CEO. McDermott helmed software program maker SAP from 2014 till lately.

ServiceNow shares fell about 16% on the event.

Donahoe, who has been on Nike’s board since 2014, will take over Jan. 13, whereas Parker will turn into government chairman and proceed to steer Nike’s board.
