WARSAW, Jan 3 (Reuters) – Four extra outbreaks of chook flu have been reported across Poland, authorities stated on Friday, bringing the entire variety of incidents in Europe’s largest poultry producer to six this week.
Outbreaks had been confirmed in Wolka Orlowska and Olchowiec Kolonia, each within the Lubelskie area of Poland, a spokesman for the governor of the Lubelskie area stated on Twitter.
Another outbreak of the H5N8 pressure reported on Friday was within the jap Lubelskie area at a farm about 500 metres from the place two instances in turkeys had been confirmed this week.
Till then Poland had not had an outbreak of chook flu since 2017.
An outbreak of the H5N8 pressure was additionally confirmed on a hen farm in Przygodzice, within the western Wielkopolskie area, Poland’s Common Veterinary Inspectorate stated in a press release.
