Ryanair sees 737 MAX return in U.S. in “subsequent month or so”

DUBLIN, Oct 9 (Reuters)Ryanair RYA.I expects Boeing’s troubled 737 MAX plane to return to service in the US within the subsequent month or so, paving the best way for the Irish low-cost provider to begin receiving planes in early 2021, a senior government stated on Friday.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) on Tuesday issued a draft report on revised coaching procedures for the 737 MAX, a milestone to return the airplane to service.

“The primary of these (orders) we’d hope to reach in very early 2021. The FAA completed their check flights final week and it seems prefer it’s going to return into service within the U.S. within the subsequent month or so. EASA, the European company, are working very carefully,” Eddie Wilson, the chief executives of Ryanair’s most important airways enterprise, advised Eire’s Newstalk radio station.
