DUBAI, Nov 18 (Reuters)Turkey’s SunExpress THYAO.IS introduced on Monday it’s shopping for an extra 10 Boeing 737 MAX eight plane, on prime of 32 already ordered, endorsing the U.S. planemaker’s grounded jet.

The billion greenback new order, introduced on the Dubai Air Present, is Boeing’s second 737 MAX order after a lethal crash of an Ethiopian Airways jet in March led to the worldwide ban of the MAX fleet. British Airways-owner IAG ICAG.L signed a letter of intent for 200 737 MAX planes in June.

Leisure airline SunExpress, a three way partnership of Turkish Airways THYAO.IS and Lufthansa LHAG.DE, stated in a press release that it signed the extra order on Monday and that the acquisition was valued at $1.2 billion in response to record costs.

The airline expressed confidence within the jet’s capabilities and its return to service, whilst Turkish Airways has been essential of Boeing in the course of the 737 MAX disaster.
