Ukraine doesn’t see grain export limits for 2 months, official says

KYIV, July 5 (Reuters)Ukraine’s agriculture ministry doesn’t anticipate to impose grain export restrictions within the subsequent two months of the 2021/2022 season that started on July 1, a senior ministry official stated on Monday.

The official stated volumes of Ukrainian grain exports could be decided by the ministry, merchants and home shoppers by Aug. 30, the official added.

Ukraine, which has already began its 2021 grain harvest, expects an all-time excessive crop of round 76 million tonnes.

The ministry has not but introduced its grain export forecast for the brand new season.

Specialists predicted the sale of 56 million tonnes of grain in 2021/22, which may embody 20.7 million tonnes of wheat, 30.7 million tonnes of corn and 4.1 million tonnes of barley.

Ukraine exported 44.6 million tonnes of grain from its 2020 crop of 65 million tonnes.

The ministry imposed export restrict of 17.5 million tonnes of wheat for 2020/2021 and a restrict of 24 million tonnes of corn.
