Feb 24 (Reuters) – United Airways Inc UAL.O on Monday withdrew its full-year 2020 forecast citing the affect of the coronavirus outbreak and stated it was seeing an about 100% decline in near-term demand to China.
On account of the outbreak, the corporate stated it has suspended flights between the US and Beijing, Chengdu, Shanghai and Hong Kong by means of April 24.
“Because of the heightened uncertainty surrounding this outbreak, its length, its affect on general demand for air journey and the likelihood the outbreak spreads to different areas, the Firm is withdrawing all full-year 2020 steerage issued on January 21, 2020,” United stated in a regulatory submitting.
