After sailing through on the first day, the initial public offer (IPO) of IRM Energy was subscribed 3.18 times so far on the second day of the bidding process.The NII portion of the issue was subscribed the most at 5.52x, while that of retail investors was booked 3.49x. The category reserved for qualified institutional buyers (QIB) was subscribed 1.12x.According to market analysts, the company’s shares are trading with a premium of Rs 55 in the unlisted market. The IPO is priced in the range of Rs 480-505.

Financials, though fundamentally strong, are likely to face more selling pressure since the major part of FPI’s AUM is in financials, particularly leading banks.
