U.S., Canadian commerce ministers elevate considerations about Mexican power sector


MEXICO CITY, July 7 (Reuters)U.S. Commerce Consultant Katherine Tai and Canadian Commerce Minister Mary Ng on Wednesday mentioned they raised considerations about Mexican power and funding insurance policies throughout an in-person assembly with their Mexican counterpart, Tatiana Clouthier.

Tai instructed reporters throughout a joint information convention that america was carefully watching the power insurance policies of the Mexican authorities and elevating considerations, however didn’t elaborate.

Ng instructed the information convention she would focus on modifications within the Mexican power sector with the Mexican power secretary on Thursday. Her workplace issued a press release saying that Ng had reiterated Canada’s “ongoing concern” with the funding local weather within the Mexican power and mining sectors.
